PSEUDO/POEMS S/S 2019 collection is inspired by The Golden Stairs, a painting from the Pre-Raphaelite artist Edward Burne-Jones.

 

Rather than being a recognizable narrative, the painting delineates eighteen young women descending a spiral staircase like spirits in an enchanted dream, with tones of white, shading to gold and silver.

By conveying the idea of this eternal moment, S/S collection uses draped organic fabric, irregular gathers, and faded colors to compose a delightful melody of the dream in the midsummer dusk.
